Our X-Ray/CT Scanner (for packs and modules)

We designed a CT scanner integrated with machine-learning analysis to meticulously detect a wide variety of internal faults (torn wires, leakages, swollen cells and more) down to 50 micron, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
INNER’s X-Ray/CT scanner is essential throughout the EV battery lifecycle; from manufacturing to assembling to repurposing. -
We deliver complete battery-pack diagnostics by assessing State of Integrity, identifying internal physical defects across cells and modules. Examples of these faults are: torn wires, swelling cells, cracks and leakages and many more.
Our end-to-end scanning takes only a few minutes which results in a higher amount of battery packs that can be tested and analyzed - to fit the workflow and high throughput of our partners.
Furthermore, the combination of our own patented hardware and proprietary software offers complete diagnosis; The output is an actionable report, in your hands, within minutes, advising you exactly how to proceed.
Battery Diagnostics

INNER’s Battery Diagnostics (beta) service offered in collaboration with Fraunhofer EZRT enables our partners to inspect and validate the integrity of their battery packs (old or new) for any sign of physical deformation.
We use x-ray in dynamic imaging and perform scans of the packs in different configurations, and analyse any abnormalities in the images using our own algorithms and pattern recognition software. Any abnormalities will be flagged in our report - no need to interpret images - our software does that for you.
The result is an actionable report, with the specification of the fault, its size and precise location - enabling you to act upon it.
